The first of two funded residency opportunities for writers at Marchmont House. The resident will stay in one of our Hobbit Pods and use the Tower Studio. This residency is for an early career writer who would value some time to work on a project without external commitments or demands.
Staying with us for the month of June, the writer will be based in the artistic heart of the Estate, the Marchmont Studios.
We welcome applications from writers who have had at least one work published in the last four years. We hope the chosen writer will find the landscape and artistic community inspirational for their work. The writer will also be invited to a tour of Marchmont House.
